Job Announcement: Director of Nursing

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• Four years of progressively responsible experience in nursing, including two years of administrative or supervisory experience

Job Duties/Responsiblities

• Develops and implements standards of nursing practice and nursing protocols
• Provides nursing expertise and input into the formulation of departmental policies and participates in strategic planning for the department;
• Approves all nursing procedures;
• Ensures that all public health staff are appropriately certified;
• Develops orientation program for nursing staff;
• Coordinate and integrate psychiatry services with other patient care services to provide a continuum of care;
• Ensure confidential of patient records
• Develop and implement written objectives, policies and procedures, organizational plans and nursing quality assurance.
