Job Announcement: Clinical Supervisor

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field
License credentials for LPC or LCSW with ACS and/or CCS preferred
5 years of experience working in a substance abuse treatment, 2 years of which in supervisory position
Experience in OMT treatment a plus

To insure that all counselors and interns receive the clinical supervision required to meet standards for obtaining license or certifications. Staff and interns have a variety of supervision needs. Some must be seen weekly for individual, others twice a month and those with licenses or certifications at least monthly.
Make certain that all counselors are moving forward towards obtaining their license(s) or certifications to meet the State requirements.
To establish and monitor agency policies regarding supervision, individual licensing/certification and the maintaining of their license/certification.
Insure that Clinical Supervision Workbooks and reports are kept up to date.
Update the DMHAS required report updating counselors' progress towards obtaining their license/certification.
Oversee and direct the supervision functions of others who are doing staff supervision.
Meet at least monthly with Clinical program coordinators and directors to review any concerns and progress of staff.
Provide recommendations to staff as to special training needs of staff- recommend specific courses that are available through our agency training site- Relias.
